The piece was composed in the Electronic Studio of the Technical University in Berlin. It is based on a traditional Czech spiritual song “Hospodine, pomiluj ny” which I’ve tried already more times to incorporate in my composition as kind of historical quotation, realizing connection with spiritual tradition of my country.
The piece decontructs the ancient text on one hand, at the same time it reveals different positions which are highlighted through new compositional and semantic relationships. From this point of view, the piece is a private oratorium for me.
