Once again we explore the Krakow's experimental scene, this time with a release by Romuald Trojanowski aka Tr21. In my home is a selection of four tracks documenting his research in the field of modern experimental electronics.
Most of the material here is pure improvisation, recorded live without any further interference in the composition.
Although the material here has been recorded between 2005 and 2007 - says the artist - it shows my attitude to sound creation during last ten years of my musical activities.
The first track is ambient improv created with the use of guitar and fx module only. That's how I used to make music years ago and that's how I created the samples I'm using nowadays - says Trojanowski.
The next one is based on groovebox with samples created with very basic sound software. Third one goes from ambient to electracoustics and to noise at the end.
Finally, the last track shows Trojanowski's recent interests and has been created completely in fl studio sequencer with the use of various software synths and fx plugins.
Trojanowski, active in the local scene for more than ten years now, seems to be one of the most interesting examples of how the experimental electronics evolved here during recent years.
Get into this album and let it grab your attention to what's going on in this area of sound development. Lots of very interesting sounds here, definitely worth listening.
